Trashcastle
For years, I've been using Stave St. to get between Armitage and California without taking Milwaukee. Then one day a friend suggested I take the next street over. What should I find there but a castle, built in a vacant lot out of stones from at tumbled-down house!
Part of the old house's wall was the back wall of the castle. Whoever built this put a lot of care into it- the roof was tarpapered and waterproof, and the remains of a moat surrounded the castle. An old park bench was inside, and you could even climb up into the tower.
In the moat were two dragons! They were seven feet long, made of painted concrete, and appeared to have glass heads that glowed before they were smashed. Looking closer, is that a light fixture? No it's not, holy fuck, these things breathe fire!
Motral: Next time you ride, take the next street over.
