Scratch-made Arc Welder
This is the arc welder that we are using. It was made from scrap metal in Kumasi Suame Magazine. They weave strips of scrap into a square, wrap one side with wire covered in rags, and bolt the whole thing together with angle-iron and threaded rod. Then you jam two wires into a 220 socket, attach them to the back of the machine, then screw your stick into the setting you need. Hammer a piece of square steel flat around the end of your neutral wire and jam it somewhere on the bike, like in the chain ring.
