The Steampunk World

Being the continued explorations of a living steampunk.

The steampunk world is all around us, lying just out of sight, in a continuous thread of steampunk builders and culture that extends from the Victorian era to the present. You'll find no science fiction here: This is real life steampunk.

Watched this great film that Mr. M23 had. I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle. Hell's angels murder a bunch of satanists for partying on their spot and in the process the demon that the satanists were raising ends up in the bike. The new owner can't get it to work but the bike goes out and kills at night, and as long as the gas tank is full of blood, it runs.

Of particular interest to me because I Built A Vampire Chopper. The night I welded it, I was taking apart the bottom bracket when it fell over, and two bolts on the fork bit into my neck, drawing blood. Just like any vampire needs a first victim when it is resurrected. The bike is cursed. Only a few people can even ride it, and when Sam took it from me when I left, he ended up riding other bikes and not only did a faceplant and knocked his teeth loose, he lost a finger to a bike chain!

And then- I shit you not- I dreamt last night about Count Chopula calling me. Forcing me to obey his evil wishes. He had even animated my cat Moses as a zombie just to torment me. I think when I return we'll have to drive a stake through his heart, sprinkle him with holy water, put a crucifix around him, and bury him. If he comes back from the dead I fear the results.
